Mantras

Mantras or simple chants, are words filled with energy and intended to generated powerful sound waves that promote healing, insight, creativity, abundance, harmony, spiritual growth, freedom from all negativity. It changes our vibrations through sound. Ancient formulas work through vibrations of the chakras to increase the flow of beneficial energy throughout the subtle body where negative energy is stored.
Examples of a Mantra:

Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Some have said:
OM
OM
OM
OM
OM

My personal favorite is The Lords Prayer:
Our Father who art in heavenHollowed be thy nameThy kingdom comeThy will be doneGive us this day our daily bread andForgive us our trespasses as we forgive others who trespass against us.Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever. amen.

I learn so much about love, life and healing each time I say this prayer.

Understanding Stress

It’s well documented that stress is not just a state of mind; it is a chemical state our bodies enter into with overwhelming challenge. Stress causes blood sugar to rise, digestion to slow down, breathing problems, and depression, to name just a few of the side effects. Prolonged stress compromises the immune system and speeds up aging. Unrelieved stress leads to a huge number of physical conditions, which in a mild form can include tension headaches, skin conditions, and arthritis. Over years, stress contributes to life-threatening illnesses like heart disease.
60% of all doctor visits are stress related. Advanced forms of meditation can stimulate innate capacities that will help us to renegotiate stress more effectively. It’s sad but true that most people don’t know how to relax: they think that “relaxation” means watching television. Relaxation techniques like meditation have great physical effects. Meditation techniques are now recommended by hospitals for patients suffering from heart conditions, high blood pressure, chronic pain, insomnia – all caused primarily by stress. This is because unrelieved stress places such a strain on the body that it breaks down. Eliminate stress with theta and alpha training stress-release programs.

Audio music intervention to help heal addictions

When you’re addicted, you need help to change: Subliminal persuasion is a powerful way to re-pattern your thoughts and beliefs. Meditation music, subliminal messages using the alpha and theta waves help pave the way to a new you.
Subliminal music therapy helps you to change your sub-conscience/ from deep within the programing of the mind. As a person thinks so they are. When you’re struggling against addiction, change can seem impossible. But you can change with the help of subliminal music therapy using theta and alpha training programs. Clinical studies reveal that the alpha and theta sound waves and subliminal music therapy training are powerful tools for treating addictions, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and other emotional dysfunctions. Seventy to eighty percent of treated patients are able to give up their addictions with a minimal relapse rate.
Daily use of meditation-centered brain wave programs can help you to overcome addictions to food, alcohol, drugs, nicotine, gambling and sex.
Meditation programs balance the electrical activity in your brain while also releasing pleasure-inducing production of the neuro-chemicals that your body craves, thus reducing anxiety and the desire for substance abuse.
Subliminal music therapy using the alpha and theta waves serve as an anti-depressant in the treatment of alcoholism and drug abuse.”
Audio intervention is my favorite deep meditation for change.
Peace

Decrease Stress Breathing Method

When we are under stress our oxygen needs increase and the muscles throughout our bodies become tense. Tension headaches are a common symptom and sometimes the pain is unbearable. Deep breathing exercises will provide relief. The first step to gaining some relief is to do diaphragmatic breathing. Begin in any comfortable position. Relaxing all muscles, inhale deeply through your nostrils. Breath in and out slowly and evenly. Fill your expanding abdomen and then your lungs. Again exhale through your nostrils drawing your abdomen back to your spine . Place your right thumb firmly alongside one nostril and breath in from the opposite nostril, slowly for 10 seconds, breathing diaphragmatically.Release the pressure of your thumb to the nostril and exhale. Do this slowly. Keep your count to 10 seconds .Doing this exercise will become easier and you will begin to feel a sense stamina as you work with your breathing rhythmically. You can begin to add more as you become more comfortable.

I am just a wandering Indian.....tribe talk....

Recently I read Seth Godins book callled "Tribes" and it made me want to do a chant and dance around the fire singing "rise and shine" all you tribe leaders. How HOT is this book. Yeah to FAITH. You Go Seth. I read and took notes on this book in only a few hour. It was time well spent.. What a hady little note book of "life coaching" encouragment this book was. It's friendly, informative, miminal reading, to the point and funny. Thinking about tribes reminded me of the tribe within the tribe. In the West the Cheyenne Indians had an elite tribe within the tribe. They were the elite military organization called "Dog Soldiers". They were the last line of defense for the people they were greatly esteemed. The warriors in the society were outfitted with a particular sash, which trailed the ground. And each member carried a sacred arrow. And in time of battle, the dog soldier would impale the sash to the ground and stand the ground to the death. They had a song which only the members could sing, and only in the face of death. . Is there a truth you are willing to stake your life too. Establish a system, fine tune it, practice it, and don't deviate from it. The dreams are not out "there" but rather within you. What are you standing for NOW. Here's my trible cry.... "woooo-woooo-wo-man stand and lead"
